About Us

Built by Game Developers, for Game Developers

We started Gameframe because we lived the documentation chaos ourselves. Scattered Google Docs, conflicting spreadsheets, and that sinking feeling when someone overwrites your balance changes. There had to be a better way.

The Problem We're Solving

Game documentation is broken. Every studio knows it, but nobody had a solution built specifically for how game teams actually work.

Scattered Documentation

Design docs live in Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, and random shared folders. Finding the latest version becomes an archaeology expedition.

Version Conflicts

Two designers edit the same balance spreadsheet. One saves. The other saves. Now you have "enemy_stats_FINAL_v3_JohnEdits.xlsx" and a production crisis.

Manual Export Hell

Every time you need data for your engine, someone manually exports JSON, prays the format is right, and hopes nothing changed since yesterday.

Our Approach

We took what software developers have used for decades—version control—and rebuilt it from scratch for game design workflows.

Git-Style Version Control

Branch, merge, and track every change to your design documents. See exactly what changed, who changed it, and when. Roll back mistakes in seconds.

AI-Powered Entity Extraction

Our AI automatically detects game entities—characters, items, abilities, stats—and tracks how they change across versions. No manual tagging required.

Multi-Format Export

Export your game data as JSON, CSV, PDF, Word, or Markdown with one click. Always up-to-date, always the right version, always consistent.

Why Trust Gameframe

We're not building another generic productivity tool. We're building the infrastructure game teams have needed for years.

Built with Indie Studio Input

Every feature comes from real conversations with game developers. We've watched studios lose work, miss deadlines, and burn out from documentation chaos. We built Gameframe to fix those exact problems.

Game-Specific by Design

We don't treat game design docs like code or generic documents. We understand that a balance spreadsheet, a narrative script, and a level design doc all need different handling.

Security You Can Trust

Role-based access control, audit logs, and encryption at rest. Your game's secrets stay secret. We know how much pre-release data matters to studios.

Active Development & Community

We ship updates weekly based on user feedback. Join studios already using Gameframe and help shape the roadmap. Your pain points become our priorities.

Let's Talk
