GameFrame keeps your GDDs, balance tables, and approvals in one trusted workspace. Version control, branches, reviews, and eleven AI specialists — built for game teams.
Trusted by game teams shipping on every platform
Most game teams live across Notion, Google Drive, Slack screenshots, and that one shared sheet nobody owns. GameFrame ends that.
12 commits · 4 reviewers approved · 1 Specialist review clean
4 findings, all addressed before merge.
smg_dps: 42.0 → 48.5
Not another generic doc tool with a dark mode.
Propose a balance change. Compare side-by-side. Merge when the team signs off.
Game designer, level designer, QA, narrative — each reviews your doc through its own lens.
See what 3 values changed in your balance sheet. AI impact check before you merge.
Reviewers can request changes, accept, or block. Audit log for compliance.
Pull a folder of GDDs from Drive or Notion. We'll structure, tag, and index it.
Not a Git log. A timeline of who changed what, why, and what the AI thought of it.
Pick the reviewers that match what you're shipping. Game Designer reads for balance. QA reads for repros. Narrative Designer reads for voice. Each one writes findings in their own tone.
Gameframe is a versioned vault for game design documents. It tracks design docs, balance spreadsheets, narrative content, and asset references on a single timeline you can branch, merge, and review.
Solo designers, indie teams, and studio design departments. The shared workflow is “edit, branch, merge, review” — anyone who keeps design docs in a folder of growing Google Docs will recognize the pain Gameframe solves.
Yes. Smart Import accepts file uploads (Markdown, plain text, Word .docx, and PDF), a public URL (paste any publicly accessible link and Gameframe fetches and parses the content), and direct text paste. Headings, tables, and inline references are preserved so the first version you create from an import has a meaningful diff to read.
Note: Gameframe does not sync continuously with Google Drive, Notion, or other services. Importing from a URL is a one-time snapshot — edits you make after import stay in Gameframe and are not pushed back to the source.
Yes. The Solo tier is free forever. It covers one vault, up to 3 documents, unlimited branches, and 300 AI credits per month (3 reviews). Indie ($12/seat/mo) unlocks 10 vaults, 1,000 AI credits (10 reviews), and up to 5 seats. Studio ($49/seat/mo) adds shared spaces, up to 25 seats, and a 24-hour response SLA.
You do. Export the entire vault — every doc, version, and asset reference — to a portable archive at any time. Gameframe never trains models on customer content.
Email support on every plan. The Studio tier adds a shared support channel and a 24-hour response SLA. Email support@gameframe.app or use the form on the contact page.
Branches let you propose changes to a document without touching the canonical version on main. Create a branch directly from any document using the branch picker — the document picker lets you select which document to base it on. Once your edits are ready, open a merge request with a title, description, and optional reviewers. Reviewers leave line-anchored comments; the Specialist Reviews personalities can run inside the MR tab too. When the team is satisfied, the branch merges into main and the document history reflects the change.
Branches and merge requests are available on all plans, including Solo.
Comments appear in a right-side rail while you read or edit a document. Select any passage and leave a comment; threads are anchored to that section so they stay in context as the document evolves. The author of a comment can edit it after posting. Comments cannot be deleted — if you need to correct a comment, edit it in place. Comments are visible to every workspace member with access to that document.
Every save to a document creates a version automatically. Open the History view from the sidebar to see the full timeline — click any entry to compare it against the current document or another version. Snapshots work differently from the rolling auto-save: you can promote any version to a named snapshot, then restore from it at any time. Restoring a snapshot does not delete subsequent history; it creates a new version that captures the restoration so nothing is ever lost.
Smart Import handles three sources: file upload (Markdown, plain text, Word .docx, and PDF), a public URL (paste a link to any publicly accessible page and Gameframe fetches and parses it), and direct text paste. Headings, tables, and inline structure are preserved so the first version created from an import has a readable diff.
Gameframe does not provide two-way sync with Google Drive or Notion. You can import a document from a public URL once, edit it in Gameframe, and manage all subsequent changes here. For ongoing collaboration with external tools, export from those tools and re-import, or use the API.
Some export templates are plan-gated. The template picker shows all available formats; locked templates display an upgrade prompt with the plan required to unlock them. Free Solo users can export using the included templates and upgrade at any time to access the full template library. Exported files are yours to use anywhere — Gameframe does not lock your content to the platform.
Yes. Gameframe supports sign-in with Google in addition to email and password. On the sign-in page, choose “Continue with Google” to authenticate through your Google account. You can link a Google account to an existing email/password account from your security settings. No other OAuth providers are available at this time.
Every Specialist Reviews run costs credits from your monthly allowance. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. The allowance by plan is:
You can run a review on a full document or on a selected passage; a selection-scoped review consumes fewer credits than a full-document run. The AI credit balance is visible in your billing settings.
Self-serve account deletion is not available in the app yet. To request permanent deletion of your account and data, email support@gameframe.app with the subject line “Account deletion request” from the address associated with your account. The team will process the request, cancel any active subscription, and remove your data. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
If you are on a paid plan, cancelling and deleting your account will end your subscription immediately with no further charges.
14-day Studio trial. No card required. Import any GDD.
